The Fast

Rev. Samantha Evans preaches on Isaiah 58, and the call to the Broad Street Ministry community (and the rest of us) to be the kind of people who fast from oppression, greed, and injustice. The fast that God commands the Judeans to take on is not one of self-righteousness or piety, but one of commitment to peace and seeking the welfare of all community members.
