In 2007-2008 BSM offered a dinner series for participants in the life and work of BSM who are trying to do some discernment (in community) about their life's work and commitments. Which is another way of saying—figuring out our lives together. The dinners were called Let Us Prey and we welcome faithful agents of social change from the city for informal dinner conversation and personal reflections. We PREYED upon them by asking them the hard questions about their life-why do they do what they do? How do they deal with adversity? What about what others think? Dinner guests have included Philadelphia District Attorney Lynne Abraham, Project H.O.M.E. co-founder Sister Mary Scullion and WHYY CEO Bill Marazzo. Dinners invite us all to ask the hard questions about what our life should be about? What contribution we will make and how. Thanks for coming to check them out!
