This Sunday at BSM

Join Broad Street Ministry in worship this Sunday, the Fifth Sunday of Lent, at 4:00pm.  Rev. Andy Greenhow will continue our Lenten series on Confession.  His sermon on Psalm 51, a psalm that the Biblical figure David wrote after his friend Nathan called him out for doing a bad thing, will be talking about what we need to call out, what we need to confess to, and how we can help others feel closer to God.

The Motley Order Choir under the direction of BSM’s answer to Michael McDonald, Tony Moore, will be singing one of our all-time favorites, Taking It To the Streets.  Plus, get your gospel on and sing Somebody Prayed for Me with us.

Plus, y’know, holy communion with home baked bread, small groups after worship where you can get to know people better, and an opportunity to belong to a loving and caring community.  Join us?

This Lent at Broad Street Ministry, we’ve been examining the practice of confession – not for the purposes of shaming ourselves or talking about how bad we are.  More like, getting things off our chest is good for us – it helps us love ourselves, our neighbors, and God.  If you feel far from God, disconnected from others, or ashamed of yourself, come give church at Broad Street Ministry a try this Sunday at 4:00 pm.
