Next Mayor of Philadelphia Community Reception & Fundraiser

We are excited to announce that Jim Kenney and Melissa Murray Bailey will attend a fundraiser for Broad Street Ministry as their first post- Primary Election event.  Both Jim Kenney and Melissa Murray Bailey will deliver remarks on the city’s high poverty rate as part of a fundraiser for Broad Street Ministry. Broad Street Ministry’s hospitality collaborative provides 5-star meals and stabilizing social services for nearly 6,000 of our most vulnerable neighbors who are struggling to overcome hunger and homelessness.  BSM also serves as the mailing address for over 2,600 Philadelphians and helped many of these citizens register to vote in Tuesday’s primary.  BSM, in partnership with leaders from Philadelphia’s world class hospitality and tourism industry, welcomes leadership that works for all Philadelphians.

Bill Golderer, Founder and Convening Minister, Broad Street Ministry will also offer remarks at the event, which will be held in the Broad Street Ministry Cathedral Dining Room on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 12:00 p.m.
