Ernest Ulrich

Deacon

Lindsay BarrettErnest has been married for fourteen years to his wife Cassandra, and they currently live in Collingswood, New Jersey. Formerly a manufacturing engineer, he is now a stay-at-home dad where he homeschools his two boys. His favorite Christian authors are C. S. Lewis and Ravi Zacharias. Coming from a background of churches where he believes they wrongly put tradition at a higher priority than the scriptures, he prefers to now focus on the core principles of the Christian faith rather than on unnecessary practices. He has been going to BSM since June ‘07 and likes helping out in a variety of ways, including serving meals, volunteering at the café, and updating the website.  Ernest is also very much into the Philly music scene, and can be seen rockin’ out at various local music venues.
